Today’s #BLOGMAS prize: A silicone covered glass bottle by Doli to keep your drinks warm!
At the end of October I told you my goals for this winter: to keep running at least twice every week. I hoped that telling you about it would keep me motivated and strong. Now I asked myself how that has worked and decided to check my calendar.
week 42: 5 runs
week 43: 5 runs
week 44: 3 runs + 2 gym
week 45: 6 gym
week 46: 1 gym, 1 Freeletics, 2 runs
week 47: 1 Freeletics, 4 runs
week 48: 1 gym
week 49: 1 very short run (3km), 5 gym
week 50: 3 gym (until Thursday)
During week 48 we moved house (my parents sold their house and moved into a lovely apartment in the same city) and I had my #veryberrypicnic, so may that be excused. But what does this tell me – I need to get back on track! Ever since I got a gym membership (at the Black Friday sale, 24. Nov) I have been horrible! I have completely forgotten about running, as I never run on treadmills. Is there anything more boring than treadmills? I don’t think so. Of course it is super cold and snowy at the moment, but I had promised myself that that won’t hold me back! That’s why it’s now time to remind myself of the things that make my (winter) runs fun!
Audiobooks. I got myself an Audible membership and am currently listening to all the Harry Potter books all over again. Also have I decided to make most of the running time and downloaded a book called Girl Code: Unlocking the Secrets to Success, Sanity and Happiness for the Female Entrepreneur and I love it! So inspiring and I can learn something whilst running!
Hot Drinks. I have started to take tea to the gym and always have it waiting after the run too.
New Motivation. I SHOULD BE SO MOTIVATED RIGHT NOW! This week I got the info, that I got a place for the Berlin Half Marathon on 2/4/2017! And guess what: I got a personal pacer as well! And guess what time we’re aiming for? After I ran my last HM at 1h 50mins, we’re now going for 1h 45mins ! Completely crazy and I’d better get running soon again!
