On Sunday my boyfriend and I ran 14km! 14km through hills and all that after several months of not running at all. I am so proud of myself. My boyfriend had to push and really motivate me several times to keep running uphill after 10km, but I did it. I grid my teeth together and remeinded myself that I can always torture myself for 1,5 hours, because it will be worth in the end. And it was! I was so proud and felt so good about myself. So I treated myself. I gave myself the best I could – a stack of protein pancakes, which were perfect for my body and my soul.

1 scoop protein powder (I use natural Whey-Isolat)
1 cup spelt flour
1 cup oat flour
1/2 tl baking powder
1 drop vanilla stevia drops oder other sweetener
some soy milk
olive oil for frying
some orange juice
Whisk the egg and add the other ingredients too. If the batter isn’t thick enough (almost like porridge!), add some more oats. That’s how my pancakes get a nice round and thick shape. Heat the stove to 2/3 (not maximum heat!) and give about a spoonful of olive oil into the pan. Then use a big spoon to give the batter into the pan. About two spoonfuls make one pancake. When little bubbles start to form, turn arount the pancakes.
Mix the quark with the orange juice and sweeten it as you like it. Then serve it with papaya or other tropical fruit and some honey if you like it really sweet (like I do!).
