“My glutes muscle doesn’t support my knees enough when I’m running, which means that my left knee gives in too much, which then retorts in knee pain.” I have been running for ten years. I’ve also had pain in my left knee for the last six years. And finally someone was able to explain it to me.
Lots of love from the pink bed in the pink hotel in Berlin. Here lies a very exhausted Lottie – but at the same time a very happy Lottie. Lili and I are in Berlin on invitation by Adidas. We will be spending a great weekend at the Runbase. Apart from Lili and me there are twenty more bloggers and we will be doing lots of sports!
The whole weekend began with a running analysis (what you read above was my most important outcome) as well as a cardio test and some super yummy healthy dinner. Oh, and the goodie bags! As you can see, we got some amazing Adidas outfits. The blue top and the dark grey shorts are my favourites. We also got running shoes that suited our style of running. I got very supportive Supernova Glides, but I have to admit that I envied Lili for her Boosts quite a bit… oh well. 😉
Also quite interesting were the results of the fitness test. It measured our pulse as well as our stress- and fitness levels and a middle number of those. My pulse was 79, my stress level 11% (Lili’s was 20% and our friend Julia’s even 42%, so mine was surprisingly good!), but I was most pride about my fitness level, which was 9 from 10 (the other fitness bloggers had an average around 6-7). Let’s see if I can get to 10 some day…
For dinner we had some super delicious (but quite tiny) vegan bowls, some vegan snack balls and some super nice talks, before I tied up our new shoes and jogged back to our hotel. And now we’re off to bed, before the day will be continued just as sportily tomorrow!
