Today uni starts again. Or to be honest, it has actually already started a few weeks ago already, but I missed the first few weeks due to all my travelling, oops. Anyways, there are these days that we don’t like as much and then we have to be reminded of all the good things that make up happy. Those can be amazing things that have happened, great things that are about to happen or the little things during your everyday life. And just to cheer myself up a bit, I thought I’d share my current highlights here!
Event: last week I had the honour to meet and run with the the German actor Matthias Schweighöfer thanks to an amazing event with Nike. See how he’s looking at me in the third picture (swoon!).
Place: 10 points go the the Arcotel Kaiserwasser hotel in Vienna. I spent a few days there just to get to know the city and spend some time with my blogger friend Jules. We turned to hotel room a little blogger office and were well fed by the breakfast buffet (including a vegan corner!) every morning. I still miss the breaky every day…
Anticipation: this weekend we’re going to our lake house again! I really can’t wait! This week has been beyond busy with all the emails, homework and other commitments so I can’t wait to go running in the forest and then spend time in the sauna and swimming in the ice-cold lake. There’s nothing more relaxing!
Food: My apple crumble! As you must have seen on Snapchat, I love love love nothing as much as collecting apples in the garden and then make my autumn delicacy. Everything smells of baked apples, cinnamon, vanilla… mhh!
Candles: Autumn time = cuddle time and for me that’s where candles belong. And now I found one that smells of apples and cinnamon and it reminds me so much of when I was 12 and had a similar candle! It was christmas holidays and I read the Narnia books in the candle light… oh the memories!
Running: I’ve been running every day for a week now! The crisp autumn air, the sunshine and the beautiful yellow and read trees are the perfect motivation to go out. Yesterday I did 8,5km during the day and then even added 5 more kilometres with my dad in the evening.
Autumn: You might have guessed this already. I LOVE AUTUMN! Autumn in Finland means colourful leaves, cold air, sunshine from the blue sky, lingonberries and mushrooms in the forest. Such a postcard-like view!
Old friends: A very old school friend of mine just called, after not being in touch for five years. And oh gosh, she’s getting married! She’s the first of my friends to get married, how crazy is that!
What are your current highlights and what’s coming up? Also let me know how you feel about these kinds of blogposts. I personally sometimes think that posts with pictures from several different occasions can be a bit confusing, but there was just so much I still wanted to share with you! So please let me know what you think!
