Healthy waffles (vegan, gluten free)

Here comes the recipe for my waffles – both a vegan one and a “normal” version. You can decide which ones you want to make – the normal one is a bit fluffier and softer, but both are just as delicious! Because of my wheat allergy I use gluten free flour, but any flour works well. Bon Appetite!

best-vegan-waffle-recipeVegan, gluten free waffles:
1 1/4 cup soy milk + 1 tsp vinegar
1/4 cup soy yogurt
1/4 cup agave syrup or any other sweetener
1/2 cup of instant oats
1 3/4 cups gluten-free flour mix or spelt flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt

Normal waffles:
2 eggs
250ml milk
a cup of flour (gluten free or spelt)
1.5 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup agave syrup or other sweetener
pinch of salt

Apart from that just stir everything together for the waffle batter, preheat the waffle iron and brush it with margarine and then fry the waffles. Half a cup makes a waffle. Serve them hot with jam and fresh fruit.
